Global Markets - 2008 Performance Charts
There
is very little I can say about this year - other than perhaps
2008 will go down in the annals of history as the year where
'the amount that the world had over-borrowed, was suddenly found
out'.
As
would be expected, stockmarkets have been volatile throughout
much of the year and none moreso than from October onwards -
prior to that, it was all negativity alone but since October
we have seen bouts of volatility that have seen swings of 10%
either side of the spectrum - all within 4 or 5 hours of trading.
This
year, because of steep Commodity and Currency swings, I am going
to show 5 Commodity charts and 5 Currency charts also to give
you an insight as to what has been happening.
To
help give you a better idea of how individual stockmarkets have
performed, we have (as we do every year) compiled charts for
each of the world's top 75 Stockmarkets - a picture speaks a
thousand words as we say.
To
see how the individual markets have performed, please just click
on the links below.
At
the bottom, you will see the Commodity and Currency Charts listed.
